| (Vermicelli
and Milk Pudding) SERVS:6 Cooking time: 1 hour
Amount Ingredients
2 cups rice
1 tbsp ghee
1/4 tsp turmeric powder (if it is strong add
a little less than 1/4 tsp)
salt to taste
sufficient water to cook the rice
Method:
1) Wash and soak the rice in sufficient water
for 15-20 minutes.
2) Cook along with turmeric powder and salt.
3) When done, drain out the water and keep on
a low flame.
4) Simultaneously heat the ghee and put it over
the rice.
5) Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Serve
hot with Wadi Aloo.
