Kulfi
Ingredients:
2 pints of milk
½ cup sugar
1 tin condensed milk
1 Oz of each pista & Badam slivered
½ Tsp. Saffron
½ Tsp. Cardamon Powder
½ Tsp. Rose essence
Method:
Boil the milk for 15 to 20 minutes on medium
heat mix the sugar and keep on stirring continuously.
Now add the tin milk and lower the heat, stir
continuously then add Rose essence, cardamom
Powder, Pista and badam, stir in the saffron.
Keep mixing till the mixture is like a thick
butter. Clean the kulfi mould and fill with
this mixture, screw the top carefully &
freeze till set. Lay them side by side. Serve
with Phaluda, syrup and chilled Rabri on top.
Phaluda
Boil the Phaluda
(Phaluda to sagun) and run through cold water,
add saffron colour and 1 tbsp of sugar serve
with kulfi.
To Serve Kulfi Phaluda
In an icecream bowl, put little crushed ice,
top it with kulfi, top kulfi with Phaluda, top
Phaluda with Rabri and top Rabri with rose syrup
& bon apetit! |
