Methi Waaraa Chanwar

(Fenugreek Rice) SERVS:4-5 Cooking time: 20 mins

Ingredients
16 tbsp
fenugreek leaves
2 cups
Rice
4 tsp
red chilli powder
3 1/2 tsp
coriander powder
1 tsp
turmeric powder
1 1/2 tsp
cummin seeds
7 tbsp
oil
1 large
tomato
salt
to taste
3 1/4 cups
water

Method:

1) Wash and soak the rice in sufficient water for 20 minutes.
2) Finely chop the fenugreek leaves and the tomato.
3) Heat the oil, add the cummin seeds and the fenugreek leaves
and fry for 5-7 minutes.
4) Now put in the finely chopped tomato and the oil separates.
5) Finally, add in the rice, salt and the required amount of water.
6) Cook on a fast flame till the first boil and then let it simmer till
the rice is done.

You can serve it with the great combination of Sai bhaji and fried potatoes, fried aloo and ghobhi mix.
