Onion
gravy
Ingredients:
1 kg. Onions grated
100 grams. of each ginger & garlic crushed,
½ cup oil, ½ kg. Tomatoes (peeled
& chopped)
1 tsp. Chilli powder.
Method:
Heat oil and ginger & garlic, fry till pinkish
in color. Now add the grated onions and keep
frying till brownish in color. Now add thechilli
powder and quickly add the chopped tomatoes
and keep frying till the oil seems to separate.
Once the oils starts to float, that means the
gravy is completely ready to use. Cool it and
then either freeze it in a container or keep
it in frig and use as required and then add
the rest of spices.
