Palak Murgi
Ingredients:
Chicken, cut into small pcs 1 kg
Spinach, finely Chopped 3 bunches
Tomatoes, peeled, Finely chopped 4 large
Cardamons, crushed 1 tsp
Black pepper, crushed 1 tsp
Butter 2 tbsps
Salt 1 tsp
Method:
Heat butter in a pan, add the cardamons &
½ of the black pepper, fry for a minute,
add the chicken & fry till pinkish in
colour. Add the tomatoes, cover & simmer
for about 10 minutes.
When
the gravy begins to thicken, add the spinach
& salt, cover, cook till chicken is tender.
When ready to serve, sprinkle the rest of
the freshly ground pepper over the prepared
dish & serve with hot white rice.
