Many ladies have turned their hobby for coocking into a profession by conducting cooking classes. Some have opened beauty parlour. Ladies tailors, fashion designers and out fitters are also some professions which Sindhi ladies have opted to utilize their hobbies in a gainful manner.

Today Sindhis take very light as well as packed dry lunch depending on the person's work. Where as then in Sind we used to eat Besani bhaji (seyai aaniyoun, photemein, laag mein besan milho) Saai bhaji-methi-a-me chanwar, Beehan ji bhaji (seyal and daag mein), Gogiroo (thoome mein), Pali, Lunak, Karhi Chanwar, Took patata, Dadhiri, Suran (Seyal ain kofta) Variyoon patata ji bhaji, Gobi Chithyal, tariyal, Tooriyoun, Ganaran jo saag, Daal (Kukaman wari, Singin wari, chanan ji, masur ji, ti dali with thoom jo tirko), sero (Gajjurun and pethe jo) Karela (Masale mein, tariyal, seyal), Mariaro, Bheendiyun (tariyal, seyal, patata vangan sa) Meha (triyal, seyal ahur mein) Vangan (tarial, seyal, bharito) Sunhajirho, Varyoon (Pulav, patate mein) Munga, Mattar etc.
