Sindhis in U.K

Sindhis have been associated with the United Kingdom, particularly the leading Sindhi business group Hindujas, having business activities in the UK, for several years.

There are prominent Sindhi business families in the UK, some of the business families being Laxmi Shivdasani, Chainrai, Chatwani Bros, Wadhwani, Chellaram, Melwani and Lalwanis. However, till date the richest among all the Sindhis in the UK are the Hindujas. Moreover, the Sindhi associations in the UK bind Sindhis together; the Sindhi Association of UK (SAUK) is registered with the Charity Commissioners for England and Wales, whereas the Inlaks Foundation is a registered Charitable Trust in Liechtenstein. The Young & Essentially Sindhi (YES), World Sindhi Congress and Sadhu Vaswani Centre are based in the UK Sindhis also have business interests in different parts of England.
