Padmini Kapila People recall Padmini Kapila for Tumhari Kasam (1978) which had the popular number Hum dono mil ke kaagaz pe dil ke … and this is the film that she is very nostalgic about. From school, she directly took to acting. Her first film was Mohan Sehgal's Intezar (1973). Since her father was also an actor, she was familiar to the world of acting and went on to do films like, Woh Main Nahin, Heeralal Pannalal, Hum Se Badhkar Kaun and Ghungroo. She also produced the film, Meetha Zahar with Deepak Parasher. Later on, she played the role of Kareena Kapoor's mother in Refugee, acted in Harry Baweja's, Deewane and D. Rama Naidu's, Aaghaaz. At the moment she is content with her family life.
