Manoj Lalwani
Manoj Lalwani kick started his career with
the widely acclaimed tele-serial 'Nukad'
as an assistant director to Aziz Mirza.
Essentially belonging to the Mirza camp,
he assisted in many of his other serials
like 'Circus', Manoranjan'. Seeing his work,
he was also given a chance to independently
direct two episodes of Circus. Having
a psenchant for comedy, he has also directed
two comedy serials - 'Main Anadi Tu Anadi'
and 'Zamaana Badal Gaya'. He has received
the best director award from Salaam Bombay
magazine.
Lalwani
is a known name in Bollywood for his screenplay
writing. He has written screenplays for
big banner films like 'Phir Bhi Dil Hai
Hindustani', Kahin Pyar Na Ho Jaye', 'One
Two Ka Four' and 'Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman'
for which he has received the Filmfare
Award for Best Screenplay.
A very talented individual, Lalwani has
also tried his hand at acting by making
appearances in cameo roles. His dream
is to set-up a full-fledged Sindhi channel
and talks are going on for the same.
