Nalini and Yasmin's fascination for hairdressing encouraged them to establish a hair salon, which would offer the kind of services, which until then, was available only abroad. Not only in terms of cuts and styles, but also in terms of professionalism, the quality of staff and ambience, they stand a cut above the rest. Today, Nalini & Yasmin are considered the pioneers of hairdressing in the country.

The duo attribute their success to their focused attitude. "Sincerity towards your profession is the key to success", says Nalini. Even as partners in the business, they have never had any ego problems, thanks to open communication and a mature handling of problems. They have constant arguments though, which they term, "very healthy."

In future, Yasmin wants to continue with hairstyling, but Nalini plans to get into administration. Apart from these interests, the duo also wants to generate awareness about hairstyling as a viable career option.
