A journalist by profession, Shanoo Bijlani started her career in the field of media in the year 1980. Starting with India Book House (IBH), she did her diploma in Mass Communications from St. Xavier's College; she did her BA in Psychology and Sociology.

Later she got linked to publications like 'Mystery magazine'. To better her career, she worked with the Free Press Journal as a sub editor. She also freelanced for Screen. She came into the spotlight after her article 'Eye banking' caught the public eye. She now works as an assistant editor of Readers Digest.
