Sheila Chaman , a sindhi lady, former Miss India, Veteran DD anchor, correspondent and news reader who has been in the electronic media for 25 years emphasizes that media persons should have not only perfect face, right voice and personality but should also know the tricks of trade , how to present oneself on the screen.

For this, she has been conducting workshops on communication skills and so far has conducted 15 workshops in Delhi and one in Mumbai and is to conduct second Media image workshop in Mumbai . Sheila is conversant in nine languages including Russian and German. She also intends to start a course in FTII Pune.

The in - house announcers of Singapore airlines, Zee newscasters, Delhi Police personnel and executives from MNCs have also gained from her teachings. "The main aim of the communication is to capture the attention of the viewer" Sheila emphasizes.
