Veena Gidwani, COO, Madison Public Relations, has been elected Chairperson of the Public Relations Society of India (PRSI), Mumbai Chapter at their 30th Annual General Meeting held on October 31, 2000. Highlighting her agenda for PRSI, Gidwani says, "My agenda will be to organise more professional events of relevance, keep abreast of the communications business worldwide and expand the membership base." On her objectives of PRSI, Gidwani states that a "vibrant organisation" is on her cards.Members elected to the Managing Committee of the PRSI include Sunil Gautam of Hanmer & Partners as Vice chairman, Alok Awasthi of Madhya Pradesh Information Centre as Secretary, Himanshu Kapadia of Concept Communications as Joint Secretary, and Pranav Kaball of the British High Commission as Treasurer.
