Parcho Vidyarthi , as he is popularly known, is among the 2000 Sindhi revolutionaries actively involved with the freedom movement. He was arrested and awarded the death sentence and also 68 years of imprisonment.

He was in jail for two years and later made a jailbreak to come to Delhi,disguised. The then home minister Vallabh Bhai Patel cancelled warrants against him declaring his activities as part of the freedom movement.He is a graduate and now 76 years old.

Ailani migrated to Ulhasnagar where he became a household name and a dear among the political personalities.He stood as a an SSPcandidate in 1962 and later joined Forward Bloc and then Congress. Although retired from public life, he is still sought out for guidance in various matters..He believes that the recent political instances confuse the electorate and the only way out is to boycott the polls .
