Sanmukh Israni
Born in 1911 in a middle3 class at Larkana , Mr.Sanmukh
Israni was destined to play a portentous role
in the life of displaced masses in India .
He is a self made man having risen to high position
in life by dint of hard-work , perseverance ,
optimism , initiative , commitment and conviction
. It is because of his overall pervading personality
that he pacifies,comforts and satisfies all .
He
elevated himself by elevating his compatriots,
by steadfastness unwavering nature which dictated
that he takes on himself pursuits with single-minded
devotion, not compromising in his attitude , powerfully
purposeful in clearing hurdles in his way and
overcome difficulties .
A
savant , he follows seven cardinal principles.
They are: Swabhimana (self respect), Kutumbabhimana
(respect for one's family) Swabhasamana (respect
for one's mother- tongue ),Swasthalabhimana (respect
for one's birth place, that is to say, have local
patriotism), Sanmuhabghimana (respect for society
, meaning the community at large), Swadeshabhimana
(respect one's country i.e. patriotism of one's
mother-land)and Manavajtimana ( respect for mankind)
. As an after thought he says that respect in
this context means love, and the intensity of
that love to be borne in an ascending order .
In
the interests of the community, he has to his
credit many welfare measures which he has been
able to carry out through his association with
several cultural, social, educational and professional
bodies.
