The ‘Koel of Dubai’ is now a household name in Bombay too. Koshi learnt her primary lessons in music from her father and was later groomed by Master Chander. A BSc. from Bombay University, Koshi did a course in pathology and worked as ‘Pathologist’ with a Kuwait Hospital, Sharjah for a couple of years. With a number of musical hits like ‘Surhan’ , ‘Laado Laadi Aaneendo’, ‘ Gulran Ja Geet’ – a favourite with children, Koshi has also acted in many Sindhi dramas. Her recent view CD of ‘Gulran ja Geet’ is another feather in her cap.
