Kum. Sudha Bhagchandani of Nagpur is an upcoming Kathak dancer who has passed Visharad (graduation) from Akhil Bharatiya Gandhrva Mahavidyalaya. A student of Smt. Lalita Hardas of Kathak Sadhana Kendra, she received her primary education in Kathak from Smt. Usha Banerjee and Shri Manik Mukerjee. In order to enhance her knowledge in Kathak, Sudha attended a workshop on Russian ballet at Wardha and gave a performance as well. She has also participated in two workshops of renowed dancer Shri Rajendra Gangani who is also a senior dance teacher at Kathak Kendra of Birju Maharaj at New Delhi. Sudha was invited by the Maharashtra Sindhi Academy and Akhil Bharat Sindhi Boli ain Sahit Sabha for a performance at Nagpur. Her dances were based on Sindhi folk stories of Shah Abdul Lateef. Beginning with'Sorath Beejal', she also performed to the songs of Abida Parveen of Pakistan and received standing ovation for her 'Gadbhav' based on the story of Umar Marui. Talented Kum. Sudha Bhagchandani has passed B.Sc. from Nagpur University and is doing higher diploma in programming at Aptech Computer Institute. She also teaches dance at Modern School, Nagpur.
