Varuna’s moment of pride

The next generation of Popleys is making its presence felt across the globe. Varuna D Jani, daughter of Mumbai-based jeweller Ramchand Popley, was recently awarded the ‘Women Super Achiever in Retail’ award by a global jury at the Asia Retail Congress 2009 in Mumbai. This is in recognition of her professional efforts. On receiving the award, she said, “This is indeed a moment of great pride. And I intend to take Indian jewellery sensibilities to greater heights.”

Varuna D Jani is known for her avant-garde jewellery designs and her flagship store in Bandra. She brings along a global woman’s perspective to her jewellery designs.
