SINDHI SANGAT OF NEW AUSTRALIA
Sindhi
Sangat of NSW, Australia has been formed for the Sindhis
living in Sydney, Australia. This association is aimed
at the social welfare of the Sindhis arriving in Australia
on permanent or student visas, to provide information
to Sindhis on immigration, guidance to Sindhi students,
who take up studies in Australia.

SYDNEY SINDHI ASSOCIATION
The
Sydney Sindhi Association was formed in 1989 and was incorporated
in July 1992. The association facilitates social and cultural
activities of Sindhis, who have migrated from India and
South East Asian countries to Australia.
The
association has over 100 Sindhi families as its members
and the members are well-settled Sindhi businesspersons
and professionals. The members celebrate events such as
Cheti Chand, Holi, Diwali, Picnic and Thadri.
The
active members of the association are as follows: Mr Thakur
Purswani, Mrs Nanki Giananey, Mr Hiro Gidwani, Miss Neeti
Vaswani, Mrs Kamal Kakwani, Mr Rajesh Nankany and Mr Inder
Kirpalani.
