Sindhis in Spain

A speciality about Spain is that 90% of the Indians in Spain are Sindhis.

Around 20,000 Sindhis reside in Spain in cities of Tandriff, Las Palmas, Madrid, Barcelona, Malaga, Valencia, and Cetua.

Sindhis carry out business activities in various fields like jewellery, textiles, restaurants etc and are very well settled.

Maya Department, Kishinchand Chellaram, Ideal and Orly are a few Sindhi companies. Out of these, Maya Department is one of the oldest stores in Spain operating since 50 years.

All Sindhis get together on the occasion of Diwali and Cheti Chand. Further, there are a few temples also in Spain like the Radha Swami Temple, Geeta Ashram, Guru Nanak, Satya Sai Baba Temple etc.
