YEAR 1893

SIND SABHA: The Sabha organised a conference at Dinsha Vacha Hall, Karachi. It took over Sind Times and Sind Sudhar weeklies.

FIRST ENGLISH WEEKLY: 'Sindian' which subsequently became Sind News. Beacon and Sind Times was the first English weekly in Sind and was controlled by Mr. N.N. Pujari Dorabji.

SADHU HIRANAND ACADEMY: Sadhu Hiranand expired on 14/7/1893 and the Union Academy was named after his as Sadhu Hiranand Academy.

SADHU NAVALRAI: Sadhu Navalrai Shownkiram also expired in the wake of his brother, Sadhu Hiranand on 22/11/1893.
