11TH BOMBAY
PROVINCIAL CONFERENCE: This conference was
held under the presidentship of Mr. Tahilram Khemchand,
President, Karachi Municipality at Bombay on 14th
and 15th September. There he met Mr. Dishaw Vachha
and Mr. Feroz Shah Mehta and Justice Chandrawarkar.
He was put up at Narottam's bungalow.
D. J. SIND COLLEGE MISCELLANY: Started
by Prof. T.L. Vaswani, continued till 1947.
SANATAN DHARM PRACHARAK PATR: Monthly
magazine published by Maharaj Sobhraj Sharma was started
from Karachi.
HINDI KUTUMB: Translation of the Hindi novel
by Shri Jetharam Ratansingh was published by the Sanatan
Dharm Parts.
SHEEL JAMNA: Translation of the Gujaraati
novel by Shri Jethanand Ratansingh was brought out
by Sanatan Dharma Pracharak Patr.
BIRTH OF A STAR: Seth Parmanand Deepchand
Hinduja, (pioneer of Hinduja Group of industries and
Charitable Trusts), born at Shikarpur, Sind.

(2 parts), 4. RAJLAXMI (4 parts), 5. SUHAGIN
PATVARIT NAARI: All these novels
were translated from Hindi by Maharaj Tejuram Sharma,
chief editor of the Part and pubished under the aegis
of the Patr.
KHUDYAVARI: Translation of Smile's
'Self-Help'.
KIMYAI SAADAT: Mirza Qalich Beg translated
Indian Ghazlis ' Islami Philsafa' and many other books.
SHAKUNTALA: Mirza Qalich Beg's play
was presented for the second time. This time the play
was directed by Maharaj Tejbhaandas and presented
by the Dharm Upkar Amateur Dramatic Society, Shikarpur.
