FIRST CLASS
FIRST GRADUATE:
Mr. Lalsing Hazaeising Ajwani, who later
became the English Professor in the D.J.Sind
College Karachi was the first Sindhi graduate,
scoring highest marks in English in the
Bombay University.
ANTI-ROLLET
ACT PROCESSION: Swami Shradhanand
led the procession in Delhi in March.
SINDHI
STUDENTS' SECOND CONVENTION: This
convention was held at Karachi under the
presidentship of Acharya Assudomal T. Gidwani.
SIND
COUNCIL MEETING: This meeting was
held in the Metharam hostel of the D.J.
Sind College under the presidenship of Shri
Jairamdas Daulatram. The Principal, Mr.
S.C. Shahani took objection to this and
rusticated about a dozen students from the
college. The students of the College resorted
to an indefinite strike, which continued
for a full week. The principal was forced
to take back his order. This was the second
time that the College students had won their
battle, the first one being that during
the tenure of principal Jackson, who had
rusticated Acharya J.B. Kirpalani in 1907.
