FIRST LADY GRADUATE OF SIND: Miss Ruki Sahibsingh Shahani (Mrs. Ruki Sahijram Gidwani) was the first Sindhi lady graduate. She was a graduate of the Bombay University.

LOKMANYA TILAK'S VISIT: Lokmanya Tilak visited Sind on March 20.

EDITOR ARRESTED: Maharaj Vishnu Sharma, editor of the Sindhi daily 'THE HINDU' was arrested under sec. 120-A I.P.C. for writing an editorial published in the paper in its issue dated July 10.

GURSANGAT: The Gursangat Darbar was started in Hyderabad by the Sindhi Hindu followers of Sikhism.

RUHA RIHAN: Shri Jethmal Parsram brought out this monthly magazine from Hyderabad.

SWARAJ: This daily paper was started from Sukhur under the editorship of Shri Chotiram Valecha, but it soon closed down. Shri Baldev Gajra restarted the paper from Shikarpur in 1933.

PATI SHEWA: The play ws adapted by Mr. Nanikram D. Mirchandani from 'Nek Parvin', the Urdu version of the English play 'Silver King'. He also directed the play in Sindhi, which was presented by the Hyderabad Amateurs Dramatic Society, Hyderabad.

DURANGI DUNIYA: The play written and directed by Mr. Lilaram Makhijani was presented by the young Citizens' Dramatic Society, Hyderabad.

NAVAL LAKSHMI: The play was written by Shri Harumal Premchand, directed by Maharaj Tejbhandas and presented by the Sarswat Brahman Dramatic Society, Karachi.

GULAB JO GUL: The play written and directed by Mr. Khanchand S. Daryani was presented by the Deti Leti Committee, Karachi.

LAJOVATI: Smt. Ghoshal's Bengali novel's translation by Mr. Lachnd Amardanomal.

SAMAN MOCHIA JI GALH: Translation of one of Tolstoy's book by Shri Lilaram Vilaitrai.

BALVO: Shri Assanand Mamtora's translation of Smt. Ghoshal's Bengali novel.

SHEERIN: Mr. Fatehchand menghraj translated the entire Guru Granth Sahib in Punjabi verse in 32 volumes. It was published by the Gurusangat, Hyderabad.

SUKH HI SIKHYA: Shri Kundanmal brought out three volumes entitled: Sharirik Jeevan, Mansik Jeevan and Atmik Jeevan.

BERANGI BAGH JO GUL, SINDHI: Shri Lalchand Amardanomal wrote the book and Sindhi Sahitya Society published it.

ILM BADEEH: Mirza Qalich Beg brought out this book on Sindhi prose and poetry.
