CILVIL DISOBEDIENCE MOVEMENT: Desh Sewa Mandal was declared to be an unlawful body. The Editor of the Hindi daily newspaper published by the Mandal and the General Manager, Mr. Mansing Chuharmal was arrested and the press was confiscated and sealed.
The Management started another paper entitiled 'The Sindhi' daily. Mr. Anand P. Hingorani filed the declaration as its editor and Mr. Surat J. uttamsingh as its printer and publisher. This paper was also closed down under the press ordinance for publishing news regarding the civil disobedience movement. The Desh Sewa Mandal, then shifted over the Sindhi Weekly 'Matrabhoomi' converting it into a daily. That paper too was subsequently closed down due to imposition of press restrictions.
Shri Hingorani and Shri Surat Uttamsing went to Delhi to participate in the Congress session, where they were arrested on a warrant issued from Sind for seditious writings in the 'Sindhi' daily. They were lodged in the Tihar Jail, and later shifted to Hyderabad, where they were tried and convicted.

HINDU JAATI: After handing over their paper 'Hindu' to the Desh Sewa Mandal, Maharaj Vishnu Sharma and Lokram Sharma started the daily paper 'Hindu jaati'.

SINDHI LADIES IMPRISONED: Ganga Devi and Lachmi Devi were the first Sindhi ladies imprisoned for two and half years for picketing liquor shop.

FIRST SINDHI PICKETER: Mrs. Gomi Kripalani was the first Sindhi lady who boycotted foreign cloth and picketed the liquor shop.

BUKH JO SHIKAR: The play was written and directed by Shri Khanchand S. Daryani and presented by the Rabindranath Literary and Dramatic Club, in the aid of Jethmal Wadhumal Dispensary.

SINDHU: A monthly magazine by Shri Bulchand Rajpal from Shikarpur.

RIJHUMAL LAHORI: Biography written by Shri Kishinchand 'Bewas'.

SADHU HIRANAND: Biography by Shri Wadhumal Bulchand, published by Sind Brahmo Samaj, Hyderabad.

SADHU NAVALRAI: Biography by Shri Nirmaldas Gurbaxani, published by Sind Brahmo Samaj, Hyderabad.

DAYARAM GIDUMAL: Biography by Shri Shewaram Pherwani.

KAUROMAL CHANDANMAL: Biography written by Shri Charandas Thakurdas.

BHAI MOOLCHAND MENGHRAJ: Biography by Shri Tahilram Assudomal.

KHILA KHUSHI: Story by Shri Nanikram Dharamdas, published by Sunder Sahitya Mandal.

UNDAR JA UDHMA: Shri Pribhdas Bherumal wrote the book, appearing serially in the 'Jyot' and published by the Sikh Tract.

VEER KUMARI: Maharaj Dwarka Prasad Sharma translated the historical Hindi novel.

DAHA UPANISHAD: Shri Tahilram Assudomal published books on Brahma Vidya, and atma gyan. He also published 'Nard Bhagti' and 'Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta' with meaning.

SIND JA MANYA: Shri Thakurdas Bhojwani published biographies of Sadhu Hiranand Navalrai, Dayaram Gidumal, Dayaram Jethmal, Diwan Kauromal Chandanmal, Bhagat Roopchand and Seth Harchandrai Vishindas.
