FIRST FIRST IN M.A. (ECONOMICS): Mr. Nenumal Shewaram Pardasani secured highest marks in Economics from D.J. Sind College, the University of Bombay.

FIRST SANATORIUM: Diwan Awatsing Mahatabsing Advani built sanatorium in Jhirak in the memory of his wife Parvatibai.

AMARKOT JO ITHAS: Qazi Abdul Ghani published the translation of Tej Singh Solanki's book on the rulers of the Thar.

HIRE-JI-MUNDI: Mr. Parmanand Mewaram wrote this book and Dharam Murthy, MAHABHARAT which were published by Kauromal Sahitya Mandal.

MOHABAT JOUN AAKHANIYOUN: Prof. Naraindas Malkani wrote the stories, published by Kauromal Sahitya Mandal.

RATAN SAHITYA MANDAL: Mr. Chuharmal Hinduja and Mr. Parumal Kewalramani started the monthly magazine 'RATAN JYOT'.

QOUMI SAMAJ: Mr. Mellaram M. Vaswani published the translation of Munshi Premchand's novel 'Sewa Sadan'

SATBHAMA: This was the translation of Nirupama Devi's novel was written and published by Mr. Mellaram Vaswani.

DADA SHAAM: Mr. Shewak Bhojraj Motwani wrote the original novel which was published by Kauromal Sahitya Mandal.

PAARAS BHAG: Mr. Tarachand Tahilram published this book on religious and moral teachings.

UPAEENDARH JI HASTI: Mr. Parmanand Mewaram wrote the book on the philosophy, and arguments for the existence of God, published by Kauromal Sahitya Mandal.

ZAMINDARI ZULUM: Mr. Khanchand Daryani wrote and directed the play, which was staged by the Hyderabad Amateur Dramatic Club. Mr. Atu Lalwani played the heroine's role and Mr. Gope Kamlani, the noted comedian (of Hindi film industry) made his debut in this drama.

KHOON: Mr. Ahmed Chagla translated the play from German playwright Mr. Richard Woo's play Mr. Hiranand B. Advani directed the play, which was staged by Rabindranath Literary and Dramatic Club, Hyderabad.
