Miss Jethi Tulsidas Sipahimalani was elected
to Sind Legislative Assembly from Karachi.

HINDU MINISTER: Mr. Gobindram Pritamdas
Mukhi became the Minister of P.W.D., thus
gaining the honour of first Hindu Minister
in Sind.
HASSARAM
PAMNANI: He was elected to Sind
Assembly from Shikarpur District. He was
shot dead at Rohiri Rly. Station in 1940.
ANARKALI:
The drama of Anarkali, which was presente
by the Rabindranath Literary and Dramatic
Club, Karachi, was written and directed
by Prof. Mangharam U. Malkani. MISS NAINA
MIRCHANDANI was the first Sindhi stage heroine,
who played the role of Anarkali along with
MISS VIMLA VASWANI, also a girl, who played
the leading role of Salim. This pair was
very popular and set a reverse trend inSindhi
drama.

and staff of Dayaram Jethmal College (founded
in 1887) celebrated the College golden jubilee
in 1937.

translated the novel of Romesh Chandra Dutta,
which was published by Sunder Sahitya Mandal.
SUSHILA:
Shri Mellaram Vaswani translated the novel
of Munshi Premchand.

KHIYAL ZAALOON: Mr. Rochiram Sadnani's
original novel was published by Kauromal
Sahitya Mandal.
SHAH
KARIM BULRHI AWARE JA QALAM: Shri
Dawoodpotto published the verses of the
poet 'Shah of Bulrhi'.

MANAVIDYA: Shri Sdhewaram Pherwani
published the book on educational psychology.
