FIRST CLASS FIRST M.A. IN PERSIAN: Mr. Dayo Lakhmichand Khianra scored highest marks in Persian in his M.aA. examination passed from University of Bombay.

CONFLICT BETWEEN HIDUS AND MUSLIMS: After the assassination of Bhagat Kanwar Ram, Mr. Hassaram Pamnaini, M.L.A. openly pointed out the name of Pir of Bharchundi on the floor of Sind Assembly as the man behind the incident. Thus the mortal enmity between the Hindus and the Muslims was born in Sind. Thereafte the communal rift between Hindujas and Muslims started planning the ouster of the Hindus from Sind.

BHARAT JEEWAN: The magazine was started planning by Shri Jethanand Lalwani in Hyderabad.

TYAG: Shri Pohumal Kewalramani translated the novel of Smt. Nirupama Devi. It was published by the Ratan Sahitya Mala.

PAAPU AIN PAKIZGI: Prof. Naraindas Bhambhani translated the novel 'Tess of Derbevilles' of Thomas Hardy. The novel was published by the Zindagi publications.

AJU KALHA: Written and directed by Shri Udho Jhangiani, it was presented by the Hyderabad National College Dramatic Society, Hyderabad.

BRAHMO DHARMA SADHNA: Mr. Rewachand Mirchandani's adaptation of Keshab Chandra Sen's book on Brahmo Samaj.

CHINIGUN: Shri Tirth Vasant published this book ob philosophy.

BAL CHANDURMA: Shri Arjan Israni translated Tagore's 'Crescent Moon', published by the Ratan Sahitya Mandal.

RATAN SAHITYA MALA: Mr. Mellaram Vaswani translated the social novels, Sikhda, Manorma, Karm Bhoomi, Maya, Chandra Chakor and Ratna. The books were published by the Ratan Sahitya Mandal.

SHRIMAD BHAGWAT GEETA: Shri Ghanshamdas Kripalani published his commentary on Bhagwat Geeta.

PREET JA GEET: Prof. M.U.Malkani translated Tagore's 'Gardener'. The book published by the Ratan Sahitya Mandal was prescribed for B.A. by the Bombay University.

BRIGHT OF 'LIGHT': Prakash (light) Bhardwaj, editor of this book was born on October 29, on the eve of Diwali in the house of Maharaj Chuharram Khimandas Bhardwaj in kandyaro town, District Nawabshah, Sind. Maharaj Khimandas, the grandfather predicted that the new-born Brahman will bring light in the Sindhi community and enrich Sindhi literature, art and music and that he will be known as a successful astrologer of his time. The predictions have proved true. He is M.A. in Astrology and has his own computerized horoscope business and World Wide Publishing Company at Hongkong and Bombay.
