QUIT INDIA MOVEMENT: Cult of violent campaign - Shri Narain Wadhwani and AinshiVidyarithi attempted to cut the telegraph wires were caught and sentenced to three years imprisonment and ten strips punishment. Sabotaging activities took various forms, bogus lettes with forged signatures of high officials, ordering transfer of Government sevants from one place to another caused great confusion in Government administration. One of such letters resulted in the release of Acharya J.B. Kripalani. Setting fire to letter boxes of post offices in Sind, created havoc in the British administration. Making bombs and tampering with railway tracks was very common in this year and resulted in arrest of Martyr Hemu Kalani. Several of our Sindhi Congress workers and leaders were jailed clandestine printing and distribution of unlawful bulletins, continued as part of Sindhi's freedom stuggle. Sindhi newspapers were closed down according to the instructions of the Government.

SINDHU TALWAR: Historical novel by Maharaj Dwarka Prasad Sharma described the attack of Mohd. Bin Qasim and situation afterwards in Brahmnabad.

MALHIN: Prof. Naraindas Bhambhani wrote this novel and short stories of Indian life.

ADO ABDUL REHMAN: Shri Amarlal Hingorani wrote the story which was published by Ratan Sahitya Mandal.

SARUD AANHOON: Mr. Gobind Punjabi's stories were published by Nai Duniya Kitab Ghar.

AKBAR JI SAKHAWAT, RANI PADMAVATI AND JEHANGIR JO INSAAF: Shri Shamdas Hemandas translated these historical novels.

ADHIKAR: Mr. Dayo Sabhani translated Taru Chandra Bandopadhya's novel and published the same.

DUKHAN PUTHIAN SUKH: Shri Tahilram Assomal's novel was published by Sasto Sahitya Mandal.

PREM BANDHAN: Shri Pitamber Kishnani,

GANDHI SUTRA: Shri Vishindas Jagtiani translated Dr Sharma's book of the same title. These were published by Sasto Sahitya Mandal.

RUSSIA JE JAILAN MEIN QAIDIYUN SAN VARTAV: Mr. A.J. Uttam's selected essays were published by Bharatvasi.

PRACHIN SINDHI SABHYATA JO NIZARO: Maharaj Dwarka Prasad Sharma wrote and published this historical book as his research on history of Sind.

SINDHI HATYA KAAND: Shri Bhagwan Tolani published the life Dahirsen.
