LACHMI HOSPITAL, BOMBAY:
Named after the saintly lady Mata Lachmi
of Jacobabad, who came to India after partition
and established a Trust and Hospital at
Sion (East), known as Mata Lachmi X-Ray
and clinic. Today, it is a full-fledged
hospital with all deparments, including
intensive Cardiac Care Unit. Dr. (Mrs) Sundri
Mirchandani is its incharge since the inception GAMTU
STUDENT: the play was staged by
Sindhi Sabha of K.C. College, Bombay. Their
other plays were: Gamtu Editor , M.L.A.
TASVEER:
weekly film magazine was started by Mr.
Kishin 'Rani' and its editor was her sister
Ruki Gidwani, published from Sion Sindhi
Colony, Bombay.
FIRST SINDHI
CHIEF ENGINEER: Mr. Jethanand Madhavdas
Rijhwani was appointed a Chief Engineer
in C.P.W.D. Delhi.
NURSE:
Novel written and published by Anand Tahilramani,
from Baroda.
