RAJU BHARAT
Raju Bharat, son of Mr. M.S.Bharat was born in 1961,
educated in 'La Martinere School' and graduated from
St. Xaviers. From the age of 6 years he has lived
in the hotel owned by his father. At the age of 12,
he started running around the property and lending
a helping hand. The junior Bharat having been groomed
and trained by a knowledgeable father acquired modern
hoteliering techniques through higher studies in the
United States. He also went for further studies in
hotel management to Switzerland, where he passed and
also received a special merit from Hotel Consult for
extra curricular activities for the benefit of the
school. He worked for 6 months at Baur-a-lac a 5 star
Hotel in Zurich. He has also completed a short Home
Study course from Cornell University and a certificate
from City and Guilds of London for Food and Beverage
Services. After returning to India, he has taken over
the management of Kenilworth Hotel. He is the executive
director of the hotel. Under his management, the hotel
has prospered tremendously.
In recent times, while father keeps a strict vigil
over business affairs. Raju is increasingly productive
in innomotive ideas and upgradation of the facilities
and services offered by the hotel. He os totally
involved with the hotel and works for long hours
to maintain the tradition of the hotel
