Jai Kishan has a political career all throughout his life. He was the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee Secretary. He was the NSU member from 1985. In 1993 he was in the Youth Congress.

In 1995, he became the Delhi Pradesh Congress Sindhi Cell General Secretary. In 1999, he was nominated as the Vice Chairman of the Delhi State Youth Congress.His elevation to the secretary level post of the Delhi Youth Congress Committee was in 2000. At present, Mr Kishan holds the post of General Secretary of the Sindhu Sabha Delhi.
