Parmanand Khattar

It is matter of great pride for Sindhis that Shri Parmanand Vishindas Khattar, who has been elected from Jamnagar constituency has become minister of state for Urban Development, with independent charge, Gujarat state. He was elected as Municipal Councilor /Corporator of Jamnagar Municipality from 1979 to 1987 and afterwards elected as MLA from Jamnagar Constituency from 1991 onwards.

His main business is manufacture of Brass parts and Foundry, Shipping and Construction. He is connected with many social and religious organizations including vice-president, All Saurashtra Sindhi Panchayat federation, Vice President District Sindhi Panchayat Trust, Member, Jamnagar City crematorium Committee, Trustee, Guru Nanak Mandir and Jhulelal Mandir .
