Incharge of BJP in the Jabalpur Municipal
corporation and Municipal Council.
Incharge of Jabalpur division of BJP observed
fast for 72 hours against the Milk Price hike
by Private dairy owners in 1991 and for 4
days against the drinking water problem faced
by the SC and ST.
In 1993 Elected as a Member of Madhya Pradesh
Legislative Assembly First time.
In 1998 Re- elected as a Member of Madhya
Pradesh Legislative Assembly Second time.
Held the post of Deputy Speaker of Madhya
Pradesh Vidhan Sabha from 11/02/1999 to 05/12/2003.
In 2003 Re- elected as a Member of Madhya
Pradesh Legislative Assembly Third time and
took oath as the Speaker of Madhya Pradesh
Vidhan Sabha on 16/12/2003.
