Shei Sadhubella Ashram has this unique distinction of going in for agricultural operations in a predominantly agricultural country like India. The Ashram's agricultural farm at Patiala in Punjab, produces rice, wheat and other crops including cotton. A similar farm is also at Hardwar, where Sadhus and other inmates take time off from religious pursuits, to produce foodgrains as religiously.
