The Khudabadi Amil Panchayat of Bombay was founded at Karachi and Hyderabad and its origin goes back to 1930.

This charitable organization was aimed at bringing about social reforms.Even after partition, the Panchayat continued its activities. The Panchayat provided houses. R J Advani's association with Hiroo Makhijani of Gobind Charitable Trust advanced the growth of the Panchayat.

The Panchayat has provided more than 500 flats to its members - Amil Brothers Society, Sadhu Vaswani Society, Sind Bahar Society, Harchu Nivas Society, Self Help Co-op Hsg Society, Inlaks nagar Society and Gitanjali society.

Twenty flats are constructed on the land allotted by MHADA to Charkop Jairamdas Doulatram Co-operative Housing Society. R J Advani's efforts enabled the Panchayat to have an office at Flora Fountain, in Mumbai city. The Panchayat awards students who secure high marks during the examination.
