The Sadhubella Ashram has always considered service to suffering humanity as one of its foremost aims. Medical facilities are inadequate in the country, when considered from the population point of view. The Ashram has provided ambulance facilities. In Bombay, four ambulances are always ready to be pressed into service for the ailing poor, irrespective of the caste, creed and religion of the patients. Three of the ambulances are air-conditioned. The Bombay Ashram also runs a dispensary, which provides free medical relief and treatment to the people.
