Khudabadi Amil Panchayat
It was founded at Karachi and Hyderabad around 1930.
Its main aim is social reformation, like eradication
of dowry system, settlement of family disputes and
improvement in the conditions of the widows.
After partition, President Late Fatehchand Asudomal
guided its activities at Mumbai and was supported
by other dedicated people. Then the activities like,
providing financial assistance for houses and employment
were included .The Panchayat was able to receive donations
so its plans were being materialized. It was provided
office accommodation at Flora Fountain.The credit
for this goes to Shri R.J.Advani.
The Panchayat also has a marriage bureau and awards
a cash prize to those students who get more than 80%marks
in their SSC, HSC and ICSE. It publishes a monthly
magazine, informing its readers about the social political.religious
and all the other scenarios of life. Within a span
of ten years the corpus of the Panchayat has gone
up from 15 lakhs to 45 lakhs and is about to reach
60 lakhs!
