Sindhi Social Samaj
For
13 years, the Sindhi Social Samaj (SSS) has been running
several institutions for the betterment of the Sindhi
community. These are :
'Dayawanti Hall' is one such charitable institution
that provides school fees, hospitals charges, and
many such things to the needy Sindhis
'Kant Atmaram Foudation' is primarily looking after
the education of Sindhi boys and girls and taking
care of basic school needs. They pay up the fees,
provide studying material too. Sometimes theses fees
run up to lakh rupees.
'Lakhi Trust' also managed by the SSS give away trophies,
certificates and other prizes to all those Sindhi
student who score more than 85% marks in S.S.C. and
H.S.C. exams.
'Adhaar' is an old age home at Borivli and looks after
the needs of the elderly.
Apart from this the SSS also hold social gatherings
on Sundays for prospective Sindhi boys and girls and
help making their marriages on earth.
