Medicos
The
Sindhi Medicos Club, founded by Dr. Lachman U. Kripalani
in 1982, is a medical organization which is involved
in the service of the Sindhi community. Its main activities
are:
1) holding CME(continuing medical education) programs,
2) imparting medical education through Doordarshan
and All India Radio by means of talk shows,
3) organizing pre-medical camps, more than 500 camps
have already been held,
4) providing free consultancy,
5) free medical check-ups including UCG, sonography,
etc. and
6) free distribution of medicines.
The club is working extensinely in Mumbai city, Ulhasnagar,
Thane and once in 1984, 40 doctors have gone to Jalgaon
to serve the needy. The President of the club is Dr.
Satram Motwani and the Secretaries are Dr. Ashok Kirpalani
(kidney specialist), Dr. B. N. Lulla (cardiologist)
and Dr. G. S. Sainani.The office is locsted at: 1,
