Moradabad: The City has 40 Sindhi families in a total population of 11 lakhs. The President & Secretary of Sindhi Panchayat are S/Shri Jeevat Singh Chandwani and Devidas Wadhwani respectively. They celebrate Republic Day and Chetichand Festivals with enthusiasm. They do some social activities and meet on happy & unhappy occasions but they do not have their own Sindhi Dharamsala or a temple. At least 50% of them speak with their brethren in their language and the remaining mass speak in Hindi language. They are often in business & are monetarily so so.
