This city has one lakh Sindhis residing in four Sindhi dominating areas of Kanti Kriplani Nagar, Kamla Nehru Nagar, Vasant Shah Nagar and Bhagat Kanwalram Nagar. 60% speak in their mother tongue while the others speak in either English or Hindi. There is one Punjab Girls Sindhi High School, which has Sindhi Devnagri subject. However, Indore has no Sindhi Primary school.
