Bhubhaneshwar: This ‘Temple City’ is the Capital of Orissa. The City’s total population is nearly 12 lakhs and the number of Sindhi families is 50. The President & Secretary of this City’s Sindhi Central Panchayat are S/Shree Pawankumar Motwani respectively. They celebrate Chetichand Festival on a grand scale and meet on happy & unhappy occasions among themselves and also do some social activities for their own Community. However they do not have any Sindhi Dharamshala or Temple but crave to build so in the near future. They often speak in Sindhi at home & among themselves and are well off in their business. The places of tourist attraction are Lingraj & Rajarani Temples, Konarak Sun Temple, Jagannath Puri Dham, Chilka Lake (biggest lake in India) etc. which can be seen in a tourist bus in 2 days.
