Prof Lachhman Khubchandani, an internationally known
social scientist, is a professor of Linguistics;
he did his doctorate from the university of Pennsylvanai,
America.He is director of the Centre for communication
studies at Pune. He is member of the scientific
council based in Barcelona; he is member of the
national Council for the promotion of Sindhi language,Baroda,
Gujarat and Chairman of Sindhu Charitable Trust.He
is also Director of Sindhu Documentation Centre
at Pune, Maharashtra.Prof Khubchandani was nominated
for 'Man of the Year 2000' award. |

Shyam Ram Rakhyani has been a prominent figure in
the field of journalism for many years. He was associated
with Bal Sahitya and had published around 100 books
related to it. He was also involved in publishing
the monthly magazine 'Gulistan', for the last 25
years. Rakhyani started a newapaper called, 'Zindagi',
(at first monthly and later weekly), which was in
circulation for 15 years. Sometime back, he has
started a monthly newspaper called, 'Zindagi Samachar'. |

15th December 1949, in Devlali, Ghanshyam Motiram
Dudya, completed his M. A. in Fine Arts and still
continues in this profession.
HE has been involved with stage drama as the writer
and director, is related with Calligraphy, had been
the Asst. editor of Izhar magazine, Hyderabad and
held several prestigious positions. He has been awarded

award from the Gujrat Sahitya Academy for five of
