Politics

It has 34 dharamshalas and many panchayats, but no central panchayat. Out of a total population of five lakh in Ajmer, one fourth are Sindhis. There are 16 primary and secondary schools managed by the local Sindhis out of which one school has Sindhi language as well Ajmer has 10/15 yearly, Monthely and Weekly Sindhi Newspaper and one daily Newspaper called Hindu. The preferred tourist destinations are Daulatbaug, Anna Sagar, Darga and may more. There is also a Raja Daharsen smarak.
