On 15th June 2002, Sadhu Vaswani College was inaugurated by Maya Kodnani, the MLA of Naroda Constituency, Ahmedabad. The ceremony began by lighting the lamp and Maya Kodnani requested all the girls of the area, to take admission in this college, since it is a girls' college. She also said that Sindhi Organizations should help poor girls, who cannot afford the fees. Nanaksingh Kukreja, who is the incharge of this college, appealed to the donors for contributions, so that additional facilities could be provided in the college.
