Larisa Sadarangani Larisa
Sadarangani is one of India's best badminton
players having won many National titles and played several
times at the International level. She has been consistently
winning State and National titles for last ten years.
She has even won the Maharshtra State triple crown in
1993 in singles, Doubles and Mixed doubles. She never
looked back after winning the Sub. Junior Singles National
title in 1989. she holds the record for winning five consecutive
Inter school titles from 1985 to 1989.
Larisa learnt her badminton at the Khar
Gymkhana.
Larisa is an extremely
versatile person with varied interests. She comes from
an educated family with her mother being a well known
doctor and her father an engineer. She is now 25 years
old and graduated in 1995 with a First class from the
N. M. College of Commerce and Economics of the Bombay
University. She has been a first class student throughout
not having sacrificed her scholastic career inspite of
her deep involvement in sports.
