G.S. Ramchand Very
few Sindhi cricketers have had the distinction of having
represented India in international cricket .One such personality
is G.S Ramchand. Chosen by the Cricket Board, even before
the partition of the country, Ramchand captained India
in the first ever cricket match won by India against Australia
in 1959-60, in all representing India in 41 test matches.
He was also chosen by the English Cricket league t o play
for them from 1951 to 1957.
