DAHIRSEN SMARAK

Ajmer, situated in the heart of the desert state of Rajasthan, is home to many a religious monument and has held a place of pride in the annals of history. Home to famous dargah of the Islamic faith and 'Pushkar', which is barely six miles away and one of the most holiest places of worship in Hindus, Ajmer has unknowingly always tried to forge a feeling of love, peace and harmony among its many visitors and inhabitants.

Situated amongst these,Sindhupati Dahirsen, which has the major attractions of this desert town..

The monument is a tribute to Raja Dahirsen, who was one of the rulers of Sindhudesh . An epitome of bravery, love and sacrifice, this mighty king is one of the best known rulers of Sindh in history.Even his wife and sister had laid down their lives for their honour. The highlight of this structure is that it is built like a fort and inside it gives glimpses of the ancient ruins of the Indus valley, namely Moenjo-Daro, Jhulelal , Sant kanwarram, Shaheed Hemu Kalani, Swami Vivekananda and Hinglaj Mata, apart from Raja Dahirsen himself. The Aura and fragrance of Sindh has been vividly captured within these four walls.
