JHULELAL
MANDIR
Mumbai's very own
Jhulelal temple at Cuffe Parade is a magnificent
structure with an atmosphere of peace and
tranquility. Built in 1985, this 5000 square feet
marble temple is a famous tourist ground of visitors
from all over the world. Many big dignitaries have
visited here to seek the blessings of Lord Jhulelal.
The temple is also known to bring miracles! It is
believed that former President Gyani Zail Singh
had just visited this temple prior to his being
the head of the country. Also Vasant Patil became
the chief minister of Maharashtra when he sought
blessings from here. Situated near the sea, the
temple is an imposing two storey building with a
big hall on the ground floor where functions like
marriages and other religious ceremonies take place.
Kanhaiyalal Khatwani and Mehantdevi are the trustees
of the temple.
